Hearing Voices That Are Distressing Training

This training provides a simulated experience of what it may be like to “hear voices”. Designed to assist people with understanding the challenges of people who experience a mental illness and hear voices through a 4-hour experiential training that includes:

  • 1 hour video
  • 1 hour simulated “hearing voices” experience through use of a MP3 player and head phones with simulated scenarios/environments
  • 1 hour group discussion
  • setup and breaks

This training is offered at various times and locations throughout the year in Alaska. If you want to have a staff training, this training can accommodate a maximum of 30 participants.
